A: Yes.
Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: No.
Q: If I come here, could I lose my CDL?
A: You cannot lose a CDL because of a psychological evaluation unless you are considered a threat to yourself or others. But some medication used to treat psychological conditions will not be acceptable to the DOT.
Q: If I’m depressed, can I lose my CCW?
A: The only way to lose your CCW is if you are deemed a threat to others or to yourself. Depression/anxiety do not cause that unless you are suicidal or homicidal.
Q: What is the difference between a psychiatrist and a psychologist?
A: A psychiatrist is a medical doctor who can prescribe medicine, while a psychologist holds a doctoral degree and focuses mainly on talk therapy.
