Dr. Roach received his Ph.D. in psychology and research design from the University of Akron. Prior to joining Weinstein & Associates he acquired extensive clinical practice experience doing group psychotherapy in residential settings with disabled youth and adults; providing supervision to clinical counselors in a private counseling center working with depression and mood disorders; and serving as an External Evaluation Consultant for a variety of state-wide and federal grant programs. Dr Roach’s experience treating clients began in 1972 with specializations in psychological evaluations of disabled individuals for social security evaluations, vocational rehabilitation evaluations, and job and family disability evaluations. He has had experience in providing interventions for child/adult disabled individuals with one or more disabilities, i.e., mobility impairments, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, Asperger’s disorder, TBI injuries, and communication disorders.
