TELEMEDICINE CHECK-IN
for psychotherapy and treatment
for psychotherapy and treatment
As of Monday, October 7th, Weinstein & Associates began using a new system called Insync. This system has many benefits that will enable us to more efficiently provide services. One of these benefits is a patient portal (your email address is required to access). Here, you will be able to see your appointments and directly check-in for your telemedicine appointments. All telemedicine appointments will be via Zoom. We will no longer use Doxy.me after December 7, 2024
Here is a link to our patient portal:
Telemedicine is basically a video chat like Skype or Face Time. Weinstein & Associates' clinicians are using a secure. encrypted and HIPAA compliant system to provide psychotherapy.
First timer to Telemedicine? Not to worry. We'll show you how. First things, first: The Telemedicine Release
This form needs to be completed and submitted once and is available to complete and submit by clicking HERE or on the Telemedicine Release button below (scroll down).
PLEASE BE IN A PRIVATE, QUIET AREA FOR YOUR TELEMEDICINE SESSION. Otherwise, your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
Check-in for your scheduled appointment is straightforward:
- 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time, please click on "Start a telemedicine call with" or "Enter waiting room" on the appropriate clinician's button (below) to begin the check-in process for your telemedicine session.
- you will be prompted to enter your name (Full Name, please),
- click the box to agree to Terms of Service, then click Check-In
- you will be asked to provide access to your camera, press ENABLE
- you will be prompted to allow access to your camera and microphone, press ALLOW
- that's it!
- Please be patient as networks are overloaded.
If your treatment is related to your Ohio BWC claim, per BWC guidelines you must physically be in one of the following places during your telemedicine session: at Home, health care provider clinic or office, hospital, critical access hospital (CAHs), skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), and an employer’s secure, private location that allows an IW access to a remote provider. Please note that you cannot be in your car.
