Dr. Richetta earned a Master’s degree in clinical psychology in 1976 and a Ph.D. in clinical/counseling psychology in 1987 from the University of Akron. He joined Weinstein and Associates in 1986 and currently serves as the Clinical Director for the practice. His doctoral research found significant evidence that work adjustment programs function as an effective treatment modality in returning injured workers to productive employment. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Ohio Psychological Association, the American Pain Society, and the Disability Examiners' Panel of the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (Industrial Commission of Ohio).
Dr. Richetta’s specializations include psychological evaluations of persons with physical injuries, management of psychological consequences of physical injuries, and pain management. He has had extensive experience in providing individual and group psychotherapy. His experience treating clients commenced in 1976 and continues to the present. He has consulted to pain management programs in two local hospitals and helped establish the psychological component of those programs. |
