TELEMEDICINE CHECK-IN

Telemedicine is basically a video chat like Skype or Face Time.  Weinstein & Associates' clinicians are using a secure, encrypted and HIPAA compliant version of Zoom to provide Telemedicine services.  Weinstein & Associates began using a new EHR system called Insync.  This system has many benefits that will enable us to more efficiently provide services.  One of these benefits is a patient portal (your email address is required to access).  Here, you will be able to see your appointments and directly check-in for your telemedicine appointments.  All telemedicine appointments will be via Zoom.
Don't have Zoom?  Not to worry.  Download for FREE here: zoom.us/download
After creating your patient portal account, you will be able to see your upcoming appointments, sign releases, receive information from your therapist, etc., including checking-in for your telemedicine sessions.
Please note:
* Recommended web browsers are Google Chrome, Firefox or Microsoft Edge.
The Safari web browser is not compatable.

* It is recommended to use a laptop or PC to setup your patient portal.

This form needs to be completed and submitted once and is available to complete and submit by clicking HERE
PLEASE BE IN A PRIVATE, QUIET AREA FOR YOUR TELEMEDICINE SESSION.  Otherwise, your appointment may need to be rescheduled.

Check-in for your scheduled appointment is straightforward:
  • 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time, please login to your PATIENT PORTAL or check your email for the secure link to your Zoom meeting.
    • Click on the Zoom link and follow the directions to access the meeting.
  • Also note that your clinician will email you a link to begin your Telemedicine session at the time of your appointment if you haven't already logged in.
  • If you have any questions, please call 216-831-1040.

If your treatment is related to your Ohio BWC claim, per BWC guidelines you must physically be in one of the following places during your telemedicine session: at Home, health care provider clinic or office, hospital, critical access hospital (CAHs), skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), and an employer’s secure, private location that allows an IW access to a remote provider.  Please note that you cannot be in your car.
