Ryan J. Borchers, M.Ed., LPCC
Mr. Borchers earned a Bachelor's of Science in Sports Industry in 2004 and a Master’s of Education in Community and Rehab Counseling in 2008, both from Ohio University in Athens, OH. His past work and internship experiences include diagnosis and treatment of behavioral and mood disorders in children, adolescents, and adults in both community and office-based settings. He has been practicing as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Weinstein & Associates since April 2015. His areas of practice include treatment of anxiety and mood disorders, and treatment of psychological conditions secondary to physical injury. His therapy orientation is a combination of a cognitive-behavioral, client-centered, and rational emotive therapy. Clinical focus centers around highlighting strengths and focusing on capabilities versus limitations. His personal interests include golf and volunteering with Special Olympics.
