As Some of our Services Resume, We Will Remain Accessible While Maintaining Safety
As we continue navigating through the coronavirus pandemic together, we at Weinstein & Associates want you to know the steps we have taken, and the steps we plan to implement, to provide our mental health services while keeping everyone safe —clients and staff.
Because each client’s mental health as well as physical health is of our utmost concern, we acted quickly during the early stages of this pandemic to maintain safe accessibility to our current clients. Let me first start with what has been done by our group to maintain safety thus far.
Since March 23, 2020, we've maintained accessibility to our current clients by:
Then, in early May, we began successfully administering Additional Allowance; C-92/Permanent Partial Disability and Permanent Total Disability Evaluations via telemedicine. In June, we safely created some availability to provide face-to-face evaluations/assessment in 11 of our offices. We tried to reschedule evaluations that were cancelled due to COVID-19, first.
Starting the last week of July, we opened some availability to provide face-to-face therapy, in addition to evaluations. We will continue encouraging telemedicine visits, when appropriate, and in accordance with the Responsible RestartOhio initiative, to minimize the need for in-person visits. As we open more of our offices, you can expect that we will continue making our collective safety a top priority. And, as such, we have made several adjustments to help ensure this safety:
* We will reschedule appointments if client and/or clinician is sick, ill or presenting symptoms.
* Similar to other businesses, we will ask you to bring your mask to your appointment.
* No children or guests allowed in waiting rooms or office.
* Both clients and clinicians will wear masks.
* High traffic surfaces will be disinfected regularly throughout the day (door knobs, desks, chairs, etc.).
We will continue to follow the safety protocols outlined in Responsible RestartOhio found at coronavirus.ohio.gov.
COVID-19 is still in our communities, and it is still contagious. So, should you come to one of our offices, you can feel confident that you will be walking into a safe environment — because we are making every effort to ensure that we are all in a safe place.
On behalf of myself and all the staff at Weinstein & Associates, I would like to extend my preemptive gratitude to all of you for your help in keeping our facilities and communities safe.
We are all in this together,

Since March 23, 2020, we've maintained accessibility to our current clients by:
- Providing psychotherapy remotely.
- via telemedicine using a secure, HIPAA compliant platform called Doxy.me.
- and/or via telephone calls.
- Adhering to recommended social distancing guidelines in our Administrative office.
- Communicating with clients that had appointments cancelled due to COVID-19.

As COVID-19 continues to impact all of our lives, we believe that our clients need our services more now, than just a few weeks ago. WE WILL REMAIN OPEN AND AVAILABLE TO OUR CLIENTS unless advised otherwise by local government. For the safety and wellbeing of our clients and employees, Weinstein & Associates will suspend in person psychotherapy and move to remote (telemedicine) treatment effective Monday, March 23, 2020. We will return to in person treatment when current restrictions are lifted.
All current clients will continue to have access to their therapist by phone or computer via telemedicine (video+audio). If you have a scheduled appointment, you can access your clinician's virtual waiting room, then engage in a telemedicine session by clicking here or below. We are confident that you will find this system easy to use. With many people now staying and working from home, we anticipate increased network (phone and internet) usage. This may create connectivity issues. If we are unable to connect virtually, your therapist will remain available for a telephone session for your scheduled appointment.
To help expedite these new processes, please review, complete and submit our Telemedicine Release by clicking here:
